FULL MOON RAVEN ART CARD by DIANE LEVESQUE

Diane Levesque was born in beautiful Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada.  She presently  resides in Prince George, B.C.

Diane is a proud member of the Dzawada’enuxw ( Kingcome Inlet, Alert Bay and Gilford Island).

Her interest in native art began in 2003 when she took her mother to her Indian Reserve on Guilford Island.  It was on this amazing reserve that she met her Great Great Uncle Sam who was a Master Carver. Diane spent many hours with this amazing man and fell in love with the mid coast art style.  Once she left the reserve she just knew that she wanted to be an artist.   From that experience she became a self taught artist who is very passionate about her own unique style of art.   Diane's passion is creating art in many forms which include painting with acrylics and oils on canvas, water colours and alcohol ink, pottery, beaded jewelry using semi-precious stones/glass beads, leather earrings and metal work using a plasma cutter with a variety of metals (stainless steel and aluminum)

Diane currently sits on the Board of Directors with the Prince George Community Arts Council, the Northern Indigenous Arts Council in Prince George BC and Arts BC
